Heavy traffic is one of the biggest problems of big cities today.

Despite that, the

number of vehicles is intensively increasing every year. So how do we overcome
the problem of traffic jams and heavy traffic?

The first solution to this problem is to encourage people to start cycling. For
instance, during rush hour when people go to work, or when they return from
work. If we do this, not only can we improve the situation with heavy traffic, but
it also has a positive effect on people's health, because cycling is very useful,
especially for the heart. The so-called "cardio training".

Another solution to this problem concerns directly the number of private

transport. For example, government can build more car parks in the city center
and forbid illegal parking spaces, ban cars from driving in the center during rush
hour and create special bypass roads. Thanks to that, this will relieve the traffic
system and provide more opportunities for public transport.

As a result, these two ways will help to reduce heavy traffic problem. But we
should always consider other options or methods, taking into account the
consequences. Solving one problem can cause another trouble, but residents
must reach a compromise.
