Devil's Food Brownies (Gluten-Free)

QUANTITY UNIT INGREDIENTS


110 Gr Dry: almond flour
45 Gr sifted cocoa or carob powder
1 tsp teaspoon sea salt
½ tsp teaspoon baking soda
2 Tsp flax meal (mix with 6 tablespoons boiling water)
35 Gr Wet: honey
35 Gr coconut oil or melted butter
20 Gr coconut milk
2 tsp vanilla
1 Tsp lemon juice

METHODS OF PREPARATION

1. Preheat the oven to 170c.


2. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
3. Mix the wet ingredients together in another bowl.
4. Mix the dry into the wet and mix until it is thick cake batter consistency. Add a little flour if too runny
or add a little milk if too thick.
5. Grease an 8.5 inch square cake pan with coconut oil or butter.
6. Pour batter into pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
7. Brownies will be soft and bubbling but should be done after 50 minutes. Let cool overnight before
serving. They will be very soft and moist.
