Victorian Fossil emblem - we need everybody's vote - adults and children


We are thrilled to announce the Pelagornis fossil has been nominated by Melbourne
Museum for a vote to represent Victorian's fossil emblem!
There are a number of beautiful Victorian fossils nominated but the Pelagornis fossil found
in Beaumaris will put Bayside on the map.
Every individual, child and adult can vote.

The 5-million-year-old fossils of Pelagornis from Bayside, Beaumaris, were


discovered more than 150 years after it was first named and proved this bird had a
