The table below provides information in percentagewise

about smartphone users using the phone’s features


from 2006 to 2010.
Looking from an overall perspective, users mostly use
making calls and send/receive text messages features,
while least favourable was record video. At the end of
the period all the features grew its popularity.
Every users used the making calls which remaind almost
unchanged throught the period. 66% users take photos
in 2006 and this rose by 10% in next four years. Text
messages was 73% at the begining, and was 79% at the
end of the period.
Playing games was not much popular in 2006 accounting
17%. However, it surged to 42% in 2008 and slightly
decreased by 1% in 2010. Playing music was the least
activities with just 12% in 2006, but the figures
increased by 6% in 2008 and more than doubled in
following two years.
No data were available both for record video and
search the internet in 2006. However, in 2008 it was
found that search the internet was 41% and was 73% in
2010. Record video was at the bottom with just 9% in
2008%, but it was nearly quadruple in 2010.
