culture. It was such an awesome experience that I’ll never forget. During our meetings, I
learned many interesting things about Maryland. For instance, I learned that Christianity is
the predominant religion in Maryland. Also, I learned that gender roles have changed and
now women can work, as men can stay at home and take care of their children. Besides, it
was wonderful that I got to meet you and talk to you. You are a very kind girl, and I want to
say thank you again for being nice to me and for sharing your thought with me.
I can say that your Spanish is very good. I just found two mistakes in your letter: first,
when you said “Marzo”. In Spanish, we don’t capitalize months. Second, at the end of your
letter you said “dejaste” instead of “dijiste”. That’s it. Apart from that, your letter was
perfect! You are very good at writing Spanish. Keep practicing your speaking skills and be
more confident! You can do it!
Thanks again, for everything! I would like to go to Maryland someday. It seems to be a
beautiful place. Besides, I would like to meet you personally.
