The graphs illustrate Vietnam’s information related to the quantity of COVID-19

vaccines absorbed and administered in 2021.

It is evident that the number of people being vaccinated increased throughout the
period, especially the period from August to September. Similarly, the supply’s
proportion also experienced an upward trend.

The first two months estimated witnessed an inconsiderable figure for vaccinations
since the highest recorded was only about 500,000 people had their first dose.
However, a significant progress has been made afterwards when the number of
people vaccinated reached 6,000,000 at the first of August and the beginning of
September’s proportion was 3 times as high as August’s. However, 2021 still did
not see a critical rise in the volume of second dose used. In particular, this
category’s data could only reach the peak of approximately 3,000,000 at the end of
the period

Regarding the quantity administered, first dose was still superior to the other one.
Certainly, first dose appeared earlier, the end of March and also possessed greater
figure at all time. Most striking to be considered was in the middle of August when
above 8,000,000 dose of vaccines were provided. Meanwhile, that of second dose
could not reach 500,000. Its greatest was only about 2,000,000 at the end.
