TOO BIG TO FIGHT

ELEPHANTS
Elephants rarely fight. They’re too big
and heavy to throw their weight around,
and quickly overheat if they try. If two
males meet as rivals in the persence
of a female, they settle their differences
by edging tusks each other cut, and
eventually by a pushing match.

young against predators.
