Synergy club Report

The club was initiated was Mrs.ShubhaShree Acharya in the month of September of 2019.
The Club’s faculty co Ordinator Mrs.ShubhaShree Acharya gave me (Raghav S- 19111033)
the opportunity to head the club and to form the club by bringing in students who were
really interested and passionate about nature.

The club took up core Objectives and many activities to complete and conduct. The
objective of the club was to create awareness about the nature and to protect the dying
mother nature. The club had its official inauguration along with the inauguration with the
national conference held by our Univeristy.

After successfully conducting two events which had topics such as nature art and
photography and digital detox the club gained more momentum in order to conduct more
activities for the audience and create more awareness with themes that we gave out for the
activities. Unfortunately, the news of Covid-19 which struck the entire world did also hurt us
by not letting us to perform any offline activity which we plan to execute during the days
ahead in the calendar. It took us 1 to 2 months to consume the new way of online method
of bringing in audience communicating your messages through your activities much more.

We did participate and tried to collaborate with Christ University Bangalore for an event
named UNSPOKEN. We successfully conducted three webinars on creating awareness about
nature, natural resources and waste management. Our guests were Mr. Ashish Kulkarni, Mr.
Sourabh Upadhyay, Mr. Sathyam Jha. During these three interactive sessions we had ample
number of particaption which ensured that this session was fruitful and informative for the
audience. We kept our online presence very active after realizing that it will be only in mode
of communicating things to the world about nature.

Interactive session with Mr. Satyam Jha- September 5th 2020.

The club also introduced a new system where we gathered thoughts of the faculties from
our college about nature and we put those in our Instagram handle. Once the juniors were
on board with the Christ deemed to be university Pune, Lavasa. We got the approval to
open the club for the juniors, the organizing committee conducted rounds of group
discussion sessions to select the ones who are passionate about nature and the ones who
are qualified to serve the purpose of the club in order to expand the growth. The juniors
contributed in all possible ways to rightly deliver what we plan to do as a club.

During the month of September, we launched a campaign wherein the participants will have
to grow a plant which will slowly get into their lifestyle. During this campaign we got the
opportunity to make this mandatory for all the section by providing this as the club activity
which made this activity a good success. The campaign was to promote the notion of
planting a sapling/growing a plant in your lifetime. The execution of this campaign, we asked
the participants to take a video and a picture and post that in their social media handle with
the hashtag- #growwithsynergy.

Now we have had some glimpses of offline activity but now we are back to online mode
engaging the audience. We have to planned to utilize the option of Reels in Instagram
because, according to the statistics and research Instagram Reels is currently the best option
to reach out to large no of audience. We are specifically creating content which can be put
out in that medium mentioned above. All these days we have been studying the behavior of
our students as they are our prime audience so that we can create content for that medium
from now.
