Bermillo, to school principals and department heads, to our facilitators
and to all teacher participants, a pleasant and blessed Wednesday
morning! We are still your moderators, I am NERI D. Mangalindan,
Head Teacher III from Morong National High School.
Mam Tina: And I am Cristina C. Samaniego, Head Teacher III, from
Lamao National High School welcoming everyone to the 2 nd day of the 4
Day Online Training on Enhancing Scientific Skills of the Special Science
Class Program Teachers for SY 2021-2022 in the Light of Covid 19
Pandemic. Before we proceed with our management of learning, I
would like to know how are you feeling today? are you happy, anxious,
or sad? Be honest, you may answer the question by pressing the right
emoji on the Zoom reaction panel below. You may press now.
NERI: Whatever you are feeling right now, remember they are valid!
We just have to accept them and be good to ourselves while we ride
this out. Now, may we call on the teachers from Morong National High
School to facilitate the Management of Learning! Take it away guys!
Thank you Morong NHS teachers! Indeed, we had a fantastic webinar
yesterday because we managed to touch on important topics, we had
so many take away, and received great feedbacks from our teacher
participants!
Ma’am Tina: And since we are already energized, let us divert and focus
that energy on learning! So, without further fuzz or delay, let me
introduce our first resource speaker who will be presenting Developing
Science Problem Solving. Our resource speaker finished her Doctoral
Degree major in Educational Management at Bataan Peninsula State
University- Dinalupihan Campus last 2016. She was the YES- O Adviser
and designated as Division YES- O Coordinator from 2016-2018. A
passer of National Qualifying Examination for School Heads in 2016
(one of the 2 passers in the Division of Bataan). Just recently, together
with her District Supervisor Dr. Jeolfa G. Reyes they won 3 rd place in
BEST INNOVATION in PROCESS- District Level. She served as Asst.
School Principal II at Balsik National High School- SHS and Hermosa
National High School- SHS from 2018 to 2020. Currently she is the
School Principal I of newly converted Palili Elem School to Palili
Integrated School. Help me in welcoming, Dr. Geraldine C. Flores, let’s
give her a warm virtual clap.

TINA: Thank you very much ma’am for the clear and concise
explanation. Learning problem-solving techniques is a must for
everyone in any field. The ability to find the root cause of a difficult
problem and formulate viable solutions is a skill that everyone must
have, especially the teachers and their students. Learning the soft
skills and critical thinking techniques that good problem solvers use can
help anyone overcome complex problems. Now, to show our
appreciation to you, may we present your Certificate of Recognition.

NERI: For our next discussant, he is Currently taking up Doctor of


Education major in Educational Management at Bataan Peninsula State
University-Dinalupihan Campus, he was a Regional Speaker in the
Critical Content in Science 8 at Regional Mass Training of Teachers. One
of the youngest speakers/ lecturers of REX Publishing House, Inc. for
Seamless K12 nationwide for the School Year 2014-2018. One of the
curriculum contextualization and localization writers of DepEd Bataan
for Senior High School. Author of the Curriculum Guide for Robotics in
the Division of Bataan. Author/Writer of Grade 11 Senior High School
Science Module in the Division of Bataan. Co-Author of Grade 9
Singaporean Science Textbook-Singapore for School Year 2015-2016.
Lastly, he is currently the Senior High School Assistant Principal of
Pagalanggang NHS-SHS. Join me in welcoming our discussant for
Developing Scientific Research Skills, Mr. Charies N. Peña. Let us give
him a warm round of virtual applause.

Neri: Thank you very much Sir Cha for imparting your expertise with us.
Possessing research skills will truly give us the ability to find an answer
to a question or a solution to a problem. Research skills include the
ability to gather information about a certain topic, review that
information and analyze and interpret the information in a manner that

Thank youSir Christian for enlightening us on Laboratory Management
System. So. Let us move on to the awarding of certificate of
recognition. Allow me to read the citation.
NERI: Finally, on behalf of the webinar training team, our resource
speaker, we would like to express our appreciation to all the
participants for taking time out again of your busy duties to attend this
online training. We have appreciated the engagement and candor that
you all have contributed to this online training. Before we part ways, let
me leave this quote by William Polland to you. And the quote
says, “Learning and Innovations go hand in hand. The arrogance of
success is to think that what you did yesterday will be sufficient for
tomorrow.”
