How To Make Doughnut
Ingredients
Flour 2 cups
I cup of milk
1 teaspoon of yeast
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon of salt
Transfer on a flat floured surface and start kneading until it stops sticking to your hands excessively.
Use little flour at a time
Cover your cut dough to rise again as this gives your doughnut volume
Use a smaller circular object to cut the middle➡ add enough vegetable oil in a pot and dip fry your
doughnut
Method 2
1) In a large bowl pour in the milk, yeast, sugar, salt egg and melted butter.
3) Brush oil in a bowl and place your dough inside and cover with a proof until it doubles in size. It
should stay for 45 minutes to 1 hour in a warm place.
4) Take it out and roll it with a rolling pin. Cut out the shapes with a doughnut cutter and set it aside
to double in size for 20 minutes.
5) Fry in a medium heated oil.
*Egg Roll*
The same recipe used for the doughnut also works for egg roll but the only difference is that when
you spread and cut your dough, you will put your egg in the middle of the dough and wrap it up.
Also after wrapping the eggs, you don't keep it to rise again just fry immediately on low heat
If you want to use baking powder, just substitute the baking powder where you have your yeast.

5 boiled eggs
2 tbsp margarine
Procedure
Add a little warm water or liquid milk if you dough have not formed

RECIPE
2 Cups Flour
1 Egg

PROCEDURE
👉In a large bowl, mix together the Flour, Baking powder, Salt, Sugar and Nutmeg
👉Use your fingers to blend the Margarine into the flour until it’s crumbly.
👉Add the beaten egg and mix together. The dough should look dry at this point.
👉Begin to introduce the water a little at a time and work the dough till dough is soft and sticky but
still workable.
👉Work the dough for about a minute then cover it and let it rest for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Work the dough again for a couple of seconds to a minute and divide it into

Okpa powder

Procedures
Put the powdered okpa in a bowl, add all ingredients listed excluding warm water .... add a
reasonable amount of oil then mix with ur hand until well mixed.
Add a cup of warm water( remember it's warm water) to the mixture and mix together with ur hand
while making sure there are no lumps
Gradually add warm water and mix with ur hand until u arrive at a not too thick or watery mixture
( just like ur pap)while making sure there are no lumps
You must have put half pot of water on heat while preparing the mixture. If using nylon remember
to leave little or no space and tie tighy...after that put them inside the boiling water in the pot...
allow it to boil for about 30-45 mins depending on the quantity of okpa.

✅Palm Oil
✔Palm oil mainly adds colour and sometimes taste to soups so add enough quantity to colour the
soup to your liking.
✔Bitter leaves help tone down the sweetness of this soup so if you do NOT have a sweet tooth, then
you should use bitterleaves in preparing this soup. Let's put it this way: if you prefer bitter leaves for
your Egusi Soup, then you should use them for Groundnut Soup too.
✔You can also use fresh habanero peppers in place of dry cayenne peppers.
Tool
✅Soak the stockfish and dry fish for a few hours. The length of time depends on how hard the stock
fish is. Some even need to be boiled a bit. . When soft, clean the fish, remove the bones and
separate them into small pieces.
✅Roast the raw groundnuts in a pan, stirring constantly till they look like this. Set aside to cool
down completely then grind into powder with a dry mill.
✅Wash and cut the pumpkin leaves into tiny pieces. If using frozen spinach, cut into small pieces
and wring out the excess water when fully defrosted.
✅Prepare other ingredients: grind the pepper and grind the crayfish.
Cooking Directions
Start cooking the shaki first as it is the toughest meat in the bunch. Always keep water to the same
level as the contents of the pot and top it up as you cook.

and stir as often as necessay.
Cook till a thin film of clear oil appears on the surface. This should take about 15 minutes. Add palm
oil and stir very well.
Add the beef and fish, stir and cook on low heat till it boils. For those who prefer their groundnut
soup without vegetables, the soup is ready at this time. If you prefer it with vegetables then go to
step 10.
Add the vegetables, stir and leave to simmer. Stir again and it is done.
RECIPE 1

6 cups of groundnuts

Preparation.

5. Take the bowl of groundnut, put 1 tbspoon of the egg mixture inside the bowl and roll in a circular
motion, the egg will coat all the groundnuts
then you now sprinkle a handful of flour inside and roll in a circular
motion and the flour again will coat the groundnut. Repeat the procedure
until you exhaust the flour and the egg mixture. Pour the peanut inside a

ASUN RECIPE
Ingredients:
Scotch bonnet (Atarodo) to taste. But note that asun is usually spicy

Procedure
Place a wok or frying pan on a stove top and set to medium heat, add vegetable oil.
When it’s hot, add the peppers and onions and saute. Add the seasoning and salt to taste. Let that
cook for about 15 minutes.
Then add the goat meat, stir to combine. Allow this to fry for another 10 minutes.
Now add the slices onion to the add to the meat and combine.
Fry till the onions caramelise a bit and your asun is ready
