Title: A Battle of Faithfulness

Text: 1 Timothy 1:12

Introduction:

1. The ministry is Faithful.

2. The ministry belongs to God.

3. The ministry is a Privilege.

You cannot put unfaithful Christian to the ministry.

We are all stewards here. And the fact that we are in the ministry, the enablement was given by God
unto us.

If the ministry is Faithful then what must we do?

Pointers:

I. Don't Question your Priorities.

As a Christian, don't question your Purpose because our Purpose is to reach souls for Christ!

1. Don't question if it's hot outside.

2. Don't question if oftentimes we felt lazy.

3. Don't question if it's raining outside.

4. Don't question if people will believe you.

5. Don't question if people will reject you.

6. Don't question if people will laugh at you.

7. Don't question if people will disrespect you.

8. Don't question if the ministry is costly.

9. Don't question if the ministry is tiring.

10. Don't question if the Lord's work is hard. Because it is definitely hard. Wala sa ating kamay ang
kaligtasan na tao, trabaho ng Panginoon yan. Just mind your own business. How? Don't question what
you do for the Lord. Why? Because the moment you begin to question, it's the moment you begin to
doubt.

Example: John the Baptist

Matthew 11:3 - And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

Don't question the Lord's work instead let's ask ourselves maybe because the problem is within
ourselves!

As a Christian, don't question your Purpose because our Purpose is to reach souls for Christ!

II. Don't Quench your Passion.

It's time to ask ourselves:

1. Do I still have the Passion to win souls?

2. Do I still have the Passion to invite people?

3. Do I still have the Passion to teach for children?

4. Do I still have the Passion to care for people?

Maybe your Passion is being quenched. Because of:

1. Wrong Priorities.

2. Busyness.

3. Coldness.

4. Problems.

5. Unfaithfulness.

6. The worst - SIN!

Example: Demas
2 Timothy 4:10 - For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world...

III. Don't Quit your Purpose.

This is the hardest part to do, to sustain. It's very easy to start a thing but quite different thing to stay.

Example: Apostle Peter

John 21:3 - Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They
went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

When you feel almost giving up, don't you dare quit! Because:

1. It's a Privilege.

2. It's a Pleasure.

In our text it says,

1. It's God who gave us this Privilege.

2. It's God who counted us Faithful.

3. It's God who enable us.

4. It's God who puts us in the ministry.

Our Priority is God. I don't care if your busy, I don't care if you have reasons, what I care is your
Presence, what I care is your heart for God.

Conclusion:

The ministry is a Battle of Faithfulness. A Battle of who will give up or who will stay!
