Think about a place you have visited as a tourist. Write some notes about:

• When and where you went.

• Where you stayed.

• What places you went sightseeing.

• The main landmarks and tourist attractions.

• Why you liked the place (Architecture, food, weather, activities, etc.)

TASK

One of your friends is planning to go to this place that you visited. Write an email
describing this experience with the notes previously written. (150-170 words)

Dear Mariana,

I hope you are fine; I am writing to you detailing some places you could visit in Cusco.

When I traveled to Cusco in 2016, I stayed at Casa Andina Hotel and this place is very
beautiful and luxurious. Then you could hire a tour package with "Etravel Cusco", and they
will take you to visit Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Ausangate, Maras and others.

In this travel experience in Cusco, you will learn about the Inca culture, the customs of the
Cuzqueños, and their delicious typical dishes such as fried trout, Chairo, Chicharron
Cuzqueño, Chiri Uchu, and others.

The landmark that is the main square of Cuzco, from there you can go to the San Blas
neighborhood, where you can appreciate the crafts that they creates.
In Cusco you can practice extreme sports such as jumping, canopy, quad bike, mainly on
the road to maras.

Remember that in June the Inti Raymi festival takes place throughout Cusco, so I
recommend you wear light clothing since it is hot during the day, but at night it is very
cold.
