1. Do you consider yourself as an artist? Justify your answer.
I try my best. I keep advancing. Practice and patients. In the beginning i had no subject. But I am
always improving growing into a better artist.

2. What is the importance of Humanities as a science of Art?


The humanities provide an insightful understanding into moral, ethical, political, and ideological
forces. A successful society characteristic. The liberal arts introduce aesthetic values to the
student.

3. Why art is also termed as “High Culture”?


High art. Much of high culture consists of the appreciation of what is sometimes called "high
art". This term is rather broader than Arnold's definition and besides literature includes music,
visual arts (especially painting), and traditional forms of the performing arts (including some
cinema).

2). Compare and contrast the Humanities and the Sciences.

One of the major differences between the two is that humanities involve a more critical and
analytical approach whereas social sciences deal with more of a scientific approach. Humanities
are a branch of science that deals with the heritage and the question of what makes us human.

Both Humanities and Social Science studies the society and human relationship as a whole;
humanities believe in a more defined, critical and analytical approach towards society but Social
Science is somewhat different. When the social approach is dealt with in a more scientific way,
then it is Social Science.

3) What is the value of studying the Humanities?


Humanities students build skills in writing and critical reading. The humanities encourage us to
think creatively. They teach us to reason about being human and to ask questions about our
world. The humanities develop informed and critical citizens. Without the humanities,
democracy could not flourish.
