What is
Literature?
Based on my own understanding, literature is a collection of
written works such as riddles, stories, myths, histories, and other
written works that possesses artistic value.

What are the 2 major

classifications of literature?

The two major classifications of literature are fiction and

nonfiction. Fiction stories are not true. It comes from the author’s
imagination. Authors can also include some factual information in
this type of work. Some examples of fiction stories are fantasy,
science fiction, and mystery. While fictional stories are make-
believe stories, nonfictional stories contain information that is
factual like biographies and autobiographies.
