Afghan Sikhs who landed in India worry that gains made
against fanaticism will be lost.
Two Sikh Parliamentarians namely Narendar Singh Khalsa
and Anarkali Kaur Honaryar moving with one of the small
steps democracy took in Afghanistan over the past 20 years
narrate that the Taliban’s return has put in peril all the gains
Afghanistan made in its struggle against the lethal cocktail
of fanaticism and terrorism. A witness to the Taliban’s
atrocities on women, Anarkali is not convinced about the
group’s assurances to respect the rights of women.

Afghanistan, the lack of defence from the country’s armed
forces and the walking-away of the President, Ashraf Ghani
the fanatic terrorist organization called Taliban has made a
hell out of the country , its return has caused irreparable
damage to the civilians , many among them have fled the
country and taken shelter in India, America, Turkey and
other countries to name a few, two among them who
happen to be the parliamentarians and fled to India narrate
their experiences in the article mentioned above.
