Assessment of learning refers to strategies designed to confirm what students know,
demonstrate whether or not they have met curriculum outcomes or the goals of their individualized programs, or to certify proficiency and make decisions about students' future programs or placements. The purpose of assessment is to gather relevant information about student performance or progress, or to determine student interests to make judgments about their learning process.
Measurement is the process of assigning numbers to events based on an established set of
rules. In educational measurement, the “events” under consideration are students' test performances and, in the simplest case, the numerals assigned might be the students' numbers of correct responses
Evaluation is feedback from the student to the instructor about the
