Answer International trade allows countries to expand their marketing network and raise
productivity. International trade will be widening the extent of the market and the
scope of the division of labour, permits a greater use of machinery, stimulates
innovations, overcomes technical indivisibilities, raises the productivity of labour,
and generally enables the trading country to enjoy increasing returns and
economic development. International trade will may us to be able to increase our
number of potential clients. Each country that you add to your list can open up a
new pathway to our business growth. Thus, it is can exercise a dynamic influence
on the economy. In turn, it helps to raise the production at higher trade. As a
result, country can enjoy the benefits of external and internal economies of scale.
For example, Indonesia expands their market to international markets in
agricultural products such as palm oil, rubber and cocoa.

Second, international trade allows countries to exchange knowledge and

technology. As we know, the technical knowledge and skills is an indispensable
source of technological progress and the importation of ideas in general is a
potent stimulus to development of a country. International trade enables a country
to learn more efficient production techniques and more modern ways of
management. In addition, a country can export their technology that is needed or
not owned by another country. Developing countries will get to know the
technology that comes from developed countries so it is encourage them to
improve their technology and realize the industrial revolution.
