Nowadays, along with the development of technology, people can travel remote areas

easily. Visiting isolated natural places has some benefits, but in my opinion, I suggest that
its disadvantages are more significant.

On the one hand, there are certain advantages in visiting remote areas. Firstly, these
places maybe contain a considerable number of undiscovered secrets, visitors could have
the opportunities to expand their knowledge and have memorable experiences.
Furthermore, ethnic people who live in these regions often have great goods and services
so that tourists visiting these places are ready to pay higher than average prices because
they has high demand for them. In addition, in order to facilitate the travelling process,
airports and roads are likely to be exerted. As a result, the infrastructure in these areas
would be considerably improved. Secondly, travelers from different cultures visit these
remote areas can share their knowledge about the outside world to the local people. This
helps them boost their understanding about a more civilized society.

On the other hand, I am sure that there are some disadvantages of this development.
The first one is the threat of pollution these activities pose must be highlighted. For
instant, visitors often emit a large amount of waste into the environment. Meanwhile, the
collection, classification and treatment of waste in most tourist areas has not been done
well. Therefore, in many places, waste destroys the beauty of the landscape and pollutes
the environment. The tourism industry also pollutes the air. Vehicles like motorized
vehicles, diesel engines emit a large amount of emissions into space when operating,
causing many types of lung diseases and many nasty effects on the body for both locals
and tourists. The use of forest land funds for tourism development also reduces the forest
area. Tourist behavior, such as breaking branches, picking flowers, and trampling on trees,
damage the forest.

In conclusion, while organised tourism can generate tremendous economic impact and
benefit society in remote areas, the environmental effects associated with this trend are
much more severe.
