SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT ACTIVITY 3.1

As a community organizer do you always start from the first phase and step of the CO
process every time you are assigned in a new community? Support your answer.

Answer: As a community organizer, it is not always necessary to start from the first
phase of the CO process when assigned in a new community. The planning of the
community organizer will depend on the current situation of the community. In addition
to that, the community organizer will need to make an assessment first to identify what
phase does the community belonged to. After identifying the current phase of the
community, the community organizer could now plan the next step to step up to another
phase. If the community organizer start from the first phase every time it goes in a new
community, the community could possibly be disorganized for not having the proper
assessment of it.
