Dear Sir,

We hope this letter finds you well. Since the start of this year, our team here at Hiraya have
been busy with several different projects which involves sharing and promoting organic and backyard
gardening to different groups and communities. One of our projects, SHeG (Self Help Group), is a
community based, holistic, development work, geared towards creating groups of empowered women.
As of the moment, we have 17 groups of 20 women each, located in different barangays of Gloria.

One of the activities we have outlined for this program is the creation of Community Food
Gardens within their areas. This is to promote food security and introduce the importance of
sustainable, organic food production to their families. So far, we have identified two 1,500 sqm lots to
be turned into their Community Gardens, one of which is within Hiraya Farm and Resort.

To formally start this project, we are conducting a 2-day seminar on Organic Community
Gardening, to be held on May 28-29, 2021 here at Hiraya Farm and Resort. We would be honored to
have you, or anyone from your office, as our guest. We would also like to request some seeds, planting
materials, or gardening implements, that your office could spare to help make these Community
Gardens successful.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Cheers,

Vic Ryan Julius Ong
