The doctor performs fluid resuscitation immediately by giving intravenous fluid infusion of
Lactated Ringer’s Solution, which consists of 7 X 30 ml (210 ml) of fluid in the first hour. The
infusion was continued as much as 7 X 70 ml (490ml) for the next five hours.

Question : 
1. Why does the doctor do the resuscitation with that amount of fluid?
2. If the initial treatment gives a good response, what should the doctor do for the rest?
3. What are your management plans for the patient?
