Subject: Orientation of Teacher Development Coordinators (TDC) and Computer

Science Teachers on Delhi Model Virtual School (DMVS)

About DMVS

Delhi Model Virtual School (DMVS) is one-of-its-kind online school comprising all the elements
of a regular school through flexible digital interaction. Upholding the motto of "anywhere
living, anytime learning, anytime testing", DMVS is Delhi Government's flagship initiative on
expanding the scope of Delhi's Education Revolution and making it available to students outside
Delhi. On the DMVS learning platform, students and teachers connect through live classes,
tutorials in smaller groups, and one-on-one mentoring for academic and personal support; all of
this is available to them at their own pace and flexibility.

DMVS will be governed by the "Delhi Schools of Specialized Excellence Society". It will be
affiliated to the Delhi Board of Secondary Education (DBSE) and its certification is valid at par
with CBSE or any other State Board. It will function for Classes 9-12. However, for the session
2021-22, the DMV School shall offer admission to students in Class 9 only.

Orientation of Teacher Development Coordinators (TDCs) and Computer Science Teachers

In its series of attempts to reach out to the school community, the DMVS team is organizing
online orientation sessions for all TDCs and Computer Science Teachers of the schools under
Directorate of Education, Government of NCT, Delhi. In these sessions, the participants will be
briefed about the modalities of the Virtual School and various aspects of teacher and student
selection. This will be followed by answering their queries and collecting their feedback.

The TDCs and Computer Science Teachers will then conduct an outreach event on DMVS for
other teachers of their school for further awareness. Heads of Schools are directed to ensure
that this information is made available to relevant teachers and that they participate in their
designated online orientation session as per following date and time:
