Module 1 – A Talk about Success and Emotions – Evidence of a Process Approach

When developing a communicative task, a process approach is very useful. Use this document to register
evidence of your process approach. Your teacher will ask you to upload this document in Intu and it will receive a
grade.

Step 4 - A draft script

Write your draft script here by adding details to your plan. Are you comfortable with the language (vocabulary
and grammar) necessary to give this talk?

Step 5 – Practice
Visit the EL Center to practice giving your talk to a monitor. Show him/her the rubric for assessing your work and
listen to his/her comments and make necessary modifications. Pay attention to pronunciation issues and scenic
presence.

Step 6 – Give your talk

You will give your talk in class. Make sure your camera and microphone are working well and that you are in a
quiet place.
