BEST PRACTICES IN MATHEMATICS IN THE NEW NORMAL

Here at Bardias Elementary School, we care about the reading level of our pupils. We
implement different best practices that improve the learning of our pupils even in distance learning
due to COVID-19 pandemic.

We launch the project OK KA? Online Kamustahan, KAagapay sa Pag aaral (Pakikipag
ugnayan ng mga guro sa mga magulang na mayroong cellphone at internet tungkol sa paggabay sa
kanilang anak sa pag-aaral) In this program we provide special attention to the learners through chat,
video call or via text messages and phone call and give them instructions that they need.

We also launch the “Parent Ko, Teacher Ko”. In this program we tell the parents to give their
full support and guidance to help their children overcome the challenges of learning in this new normal
setting. We also ask the cooperation of parents to give more attention and focus to their children when
it comes to reading and accomplishing task given by the teacher.

This school year is a great challenge for teachers and learners. But we do believe that we can
all overcome it by working hand in hand to achieve the common our goal-delivering quality educations
to our learners.
