KNOWING WHO YOU ARE

To fulfil destiny, you must not be confused about who you are.

SCRIPTURE: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should
shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To fulfil destiny, you must not be confused about who you are.

Knowing who you are is critical to fulfilling your purpose and destiny. The knowledge of who you are is a crucial
necessity for your destiny fulfilment. People become casualties of life’s challenges when they don’t know who they
are or what God says about them in scriptures.

1 Peter 2:9 says, But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should
shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Beloved, this is who you
are!

To fulfil destiny, you must not be confused about who you are. When you don’t know who you are, you are at the
mercy of the devil.

Many years ago, Paul Yonggi Cho was trying to cast out the devil from a demon-possessed person. He did everything
he could do but the devil refused to be cast out. Then all of a sudden, he got a revelation from Scriptures and
immediately, he told that demon: “You must go out now, because two thousand years ago, my elder brother, Jesus
Christ, defeated you on my behalf. And I stand in His shoes to command you to get out!”

Then the devil said to him, “Hold on. I will go but please don’t tell anyone what you just said, that I have already been
defeated on the Cross”. And immediately, that devil was cast out from the possessed person.

Beloved, many people are not aware of who they are in God, and the devil is taking advantage of their ignorance to
afflict and torment them. My counsel is, search the scripture and let God reveal to you who you are.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Study the Scriptures always to know what is written about you.

2. Believe what God has revealed to you about you and put it to practice.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You open my eyes to see who I am from the Scriptures. I receive the grace to believe what
You have said about me Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
