1. HOW WOULD YOU DEVELOP LISTENING SKILLS AT PRIMARY LEVEL? SUGGEST

SOME ACTIVITIES.

As stated in the methodological orientations for the teaching of English in the Royal
Decree 126/2014, February 28th, the ultimate aim in foreign language teaching is the
development of the students’ communicative competence. This perspective
prioritizing oral skills, specially at early ages; considering that the foreign language has
to be linked to social practice and useful linguistic interactions.

On the other hand, in this practical case I will deal with some motivating learning
strategies and techniques, considering that the main objective in Primary Education is
develop in students the abilities to understand different accents of what can be
understood.

Given this, in order to solve this practical case, I am going to set the context in which
my practical proposal will be implemented; next, I am going to stablish the curricular
relation with the official curriculum and finally, I am going to present an original
practical proposal and some concluding remarks.
