Argentina churches train in digital outreach

The Mediterranean Argentine District held a training called “Communications in the

Church: Preparing to Reach the Digital World” 25 May in Cordoba, Argentina. The
training was organized by the district Nazarene Youth International and National
Communications Ministry, and several churches from the district took part in the
event.

This was the first digital communications development and training event on the
district, and the goal was to teach participants how to effectively reach the digital
world with the gospel.

National Communications Ministry Member Victor Hugo spoke at the event on the

importance of preparing and producing materials that can spread the gospel
through social media and other platforms. He also spoke on how to maximize GIVE NOW

existing audiovisual resources for evangelistic work and discipleship in local

churches.

“We are living in a new time where the routine of people has changed, and the

majority of people spend most of their time connected to the internet,” said
Edivaldo Junior, district NYI president. “With this new reality, the church needs to
take a new look at the strategies we are using for evangelism and to train leaders
and produce dynamic content that will carry the gospel into digital platforms.”
