"34 Proofs And Around 230 Verses that prove Jesus is God using Tanakh(Old Testament) And the New testament." -Luca Verses below that prove Jesus is God,NOTE!([Joel 2:32] "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.” NOTE,THIS PROVES THE WORD LORD IS USED FOR GOD! -Luca Before you read,I'd like to say the reason | have made this is for the amount of sheer lies from Others saying "Jesus isn't God." And Preaching Heresies such as Arianism,Or Unitarians, Thanks a lot for reading this, my discord tag is [Luca Roman#0001] [1:] A way for Jesus's divinity,ls him being the word,In [John 1:1] "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." in Greek the word (8€0c) Means (God) so The Word is God, In [John 1:14] "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father." The whole chapter is about Jesus And the father before The beginning and how in substance they are God,For more proof That Jesus is the Word in [Revelation 19:10-13] which even says Jesus it says "Then | fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, "You must not do that! | am a fellow servant with you and your brethren who hold the testimony of JESUS. Worship God." For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Then | saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems; and he has a name inscribed which no one knows but himself,He is clad in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The WORD of God." This Proves the Word of God is Jesus and the Word in substance is God,other encounters of the Word of God in the Tanakh is: [Jeremiah 1:3-6] "It came also in the days of Jehoi'akim the son of Josi'ah, king of Judah, and until the end of the eleventh year of Zedeki'ah, the son of Josi'ah, king of Judah, until the captivity of Jerusalem in the fifth month. Now the word of the Lord came to me saying,'Before | formed you in the womb | knew you, and before you were born | consecrated you; | appointed you a prophet to the nations." Then | said, "Ah, Lord God! Behold, | do not know how to speak, for | am only a youth." Notice How in Verse 6 it says "Lord God." As in GOD,Meaning the word is God and backs up [John 1:1] Furthermore It is the son since the father ls mentioned as Yahweh In the Tanakh,So Jesus Pre incarnated is divine and the 'Word of God! The Word Of God is mentioned in [Jonah 1:1-2] "Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amit'tai, saying,'Arise, go to Nin'eveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness has come up before me.” Again keep in mind the 'Word of the Lord’ Lord is used for God(Yahweh) the same way it's seen in other verses, thus proving It's Jesus preincarnate! In [Jonah 3:1-2] The Word of the Lord is mentioned too! Jesus has been with many Prophets,This Proves the Word is God and Jesus preincarnated! [2:] [Colossians 2:5-9] "For though | am absent in body, yet | am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ. As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so live in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ. For in him the whole fulness of deity dwells bodily." What's Interesting here is that not only in Verse 6 it calls Jesus Lord(God) In Verse 9 it says the fulness Of 'Deity' dwells in him,ls in him,The Word fullness implies 100%,And deity as In God,rather the substance of Jesus is 100% God Meaning he is divine! [3:] [John 10:27-28] "My sheep hear my voice, and | know them, and they follow me;and | give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand." NOTE:IN THE NEXT VERSE IT SAYS THEY CAN'T SNATCH OUT OF THE FATHERS HAND MEANING GOD CAN ONLY BE THE SHEPERD! Prophecy and Quoted from: [Psalm 95:6-8] "O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. O that today you would hearken to his voice!Harden not your hearts, as at Mer'ibah, as on the day at Massah in the wilderness" What's insane about [Psalm 95:6-8] is that It calls the shepherd God,which is Jesus and mentioned in the gospels many times and how From Jesus's perspective we are his sheep! And whats amazing proof that the shepherd Is God's and Jesus is [Psalm 80:1-7] "Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou who leadest Joseph like a flock! Thou who art enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth before E'phraim and Benjamin and Manas'seh! Stir up thy might, and come to save us! Restore us, O God; let thy face shine, that we may be saved! O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry with thy people's prayers?Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in full measure. Thou dost make us the scorn of our neighbors; and our enemies laugh among themselves. Restore us, O God of hosts; let thy face shine, that we may be saved!" Not only does it mention The shepherd as 'GOD' many times it also says the shepherd will restore Israel, and jesus says to be that sheperd,And Backs up Psalms 95 and John 10! EVEN MORE PROOF: [Isaiah 43:13] "| am God, and also henceforth | am He; there is none who can deliver from my hand; | work and who can hinder it?" Since jesus claims no one can snatch the sheep from his hands then he is claiming just as in [Isaiah 43:13] To be God since there is ‘none apart from god that can take them from his hand! EXTRA VERSE: [Deuteronomy 32:39] " See now that |, even |, am he, and there is no god beside me; | kill and | make alive; | wound and | heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand." For those who still don't believe even in deuteronomy it says only God can heal and wound, and that there is none that can 'DELIVER FROM HIS HAND' Which sums it all up,No Muslim can deny this divinity of jesus in context, thanks for reading,God bless! NOTE: [John 10:11] "Il am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." Again the sheperd Quote,it is seen in [Psalm 23:1!] "The Lord is my shepherd, | shall not want;" what's beautiful is that not only is the sheperd mentioned many times,|n [Psalm 23:6]"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and | shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." His Eternal house is heaven,as he saved us too,The Word Lord is used too And is used for God! For more proof [Psalm 80:1-7] Shows how the sheperd saves us and [Psalm 95:6-8] that tells us to Kneel before our God(sheperd) so this is a divinity claim, and prophecy! [4)] [Hebrews 1:8-12] "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O GOD(JESUS), is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail." It says In the First verse that the FATHER,says to the SON he is GOD,And even more verses in the old testament are a quote and backs this up! EXTRA VERSE BACKED UP: [Psalm 45:6-7] "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is aright sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows." This not only is about Jesus, It Backs up [Hebrews 1:8] ! ANOTHER VERSE: [Psalm 102:25-27]"Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end." Not only it is a direct quote to [Hebrews 1:10-12] It shows that the father who was speaking to Jesus calls him GOD,And also that he created the foundations, and that he shall change us! This Proves he's God! [John 17:5] "And now, Father, glorify thou me in thy own presence with the glory which | had with thee before the world was made." If Jesus was a mere human how can he be glorified before the WORLD Even became?! This shows an eternal begetting Just As [John 1:1] States that in the ‘Beginning there was the word: [John 8:56-59] "Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!” “Very truly | tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, | am!"At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds." THERE is a LOT To uncover in these Verses but let's see,First of all we know that Jesus preincarnate is the angel of the Lord and the Word of the father,Jesus in Verse 56 says ‘Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing Jesus!!! Meaning he Lived way way before moses preincarnate as the angel of the Lord,This is not possible for a Non divine person, another noteworthy Quote is The pharisees clearly saying how can he( a mere man) see Abraham,Jesus himself says ‘Before Abraham was | was!’ And a verse later they try to stone him, there's a secret message here,In Jewish law Blasphemy is Killed by stoning,If Jesus didn't Say he was divine by saying he lived before Abraham why would he try and be killed? It's clear he is divine :) [6:] [John 10:30-33] "I and the Father are one: The Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, "| have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of these do you stone me?" The Jews answered him, "It is not for a good work that we stone you but for blasphemy; because you, being a man, make yourself God." The most beautiful stuff about this verse is the first part in which he says he is 1 with the father,In essence the father and son are God which is a divinity claim and how in Verse 33 the JEWS Want to KILL Him for BLASPHEMY,Which further Proves this! Next Few verses [John 10:34-39] "Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, you are gods’? If he called them gods to whom the word of God came (and scripture cannot be broken), do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming; because | said, ‘| am the Son of God’? If | am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if | do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and | am in the Father." Again they tried to arrest him, but he escaped from their hands." He even says | am in the Father and him in me,Essence of God and this is PROVEN AGAIN,since they tried to arrest Jesus but he fleed, blasphemy is Punished by stoning or arresting! [7:] [John 14:1-9] "Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, would | have told you that | go to prepare a place for you? And when | go and prepare a place for you, | will come again and will take you to myself, that where | am you may be also. And you know the way where | am going." Thomas said to him, "Lord, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?" Jesus said to him, "| am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also; henceforth you know him and have seen him." Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father, and we shall be satisfied." Jesus said to him, "Have | been with you so long, and yet you do not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father'?" This is a really good divinity claim for many reasons! FIRSTLY In Verse 1 it says if you believe in God,believe in me,lf the father is God then believing in Jesus would also be God since he says believe in God,and also believe in me,Later Thomas even calls him Lord and in that context it means God! NOW A HUGE PART: IN Verse 6 it says 'l am the way,the truth and the life’ 'NO ONE COMES THROUGH THE Father but BY ME’ Unless Jesus has a huge Rank or is divine if We can't be saved through the Father(God),ONLY By Jesus,Who proves to be God! [John 14:13-14] "Whatever you ask in my name, | will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; if you ask anything in my name, | will do it." By asking we are praying, and if Jesus isn't Divine or God, Then how would anything be possible to be given Through Jesus? And yet again he says the father is in him and the Jesus in the father,It even says his father dwells in him!,In Substance God,I'm verse 9 it says ‘if you have seen me you have seen the Father' is a divinity claim as the Father is God and [Colossians 1:15] Shows how he is the ‘image of the father,Meaning He is made of the same substance, GOD! [8:] Chapter 20 Of John has a lot of happiness and Divinity Claims! [John 20:2] "So she ran, and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him." Peter calls Jesus The Lord,As In the God! Next Few verses. [John 20:13] "They said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and | do not know where they have laid him." Again Called Lord as in God! [John 20:18] "Mary Mag‘dalene went and said to the disciples, "| have seen the Lord’; and she told them that he had said these things to her." Mary calls Jesus The Lord! [John 20:20] "When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord." Called The LORD,Each time,Which equates to God. [John 20:28-29] "Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe." This is probably the best part of the Chapter, Thomas gets Happy and bows down calling Jesus Lord and God! And if Jesus was not divine he would not rebuke him, rather he said in the next verse: 'Have you believed me because you have not seen me? BLESSED,Are those who have seen and yet BELIEVE,This alone proves he's God! [9:] Jesus Says He Is the Alpha and Omega and the First and the Last: These Are Titles for Jehovah. | was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and | heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches. . . .” Then | turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning | saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength. When | saw him, | fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, | am the first and the last, and the living one. | died, and behold | am alive forevermore, and | have the keys of Death and Hades.” (Revelation 1:10-18) The one who was dead and now lives again is obviously Jesus, who says that he is the First and the Last. This is a clear identification with the “first and the last” of Isaiah 44:6, a reference to Yahweh: “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the first and | am the last; besides me there is no god.” “Behold, | am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. | am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end .. . |, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. | am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. ... He who testifies to these things says, “Surely |am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! (Revelation 22:12- 17, 20) Notice the “first and the last” also calls himself “Alpha and Omega.” In Revelation 1:8, it is the “Lord God” who calls himself Alpha and Omega. So “Lord God,” “first and last,” and “Alpha and Omega” all refer to the same being. In Revelation 22, the Alpha and Omega said he was coming soon. Who is the one coming? It is Jesus. “Come, Lord Jesus!” And the speaking “Alpha and Omega” actually refers to himself as Jesus in Revelation 22:16. [10:] Works Mightily in Us! To [the saints] God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this | toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me. (Colossians 1:27-29) Christ was in Paul, working mightily. He can work in us as well. Christ must be God to be present in each of us, and to work mightily in us. {11:] Created All Things, Holds All Things Together "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (Colossians 1:16-17). Everything was created by Jesus and for Jesus. That is why he is preeminent. He holds everything in the universe together. THIS Backs up Hebrews chapter 1 on Jesus Creating the world! [12:] Noted found in the Gospel of John:[iv] He knew the Father and His will. As we have seen previously, he did not act without the Father's permission or prompting. He claimed equality with God as He fulfilled His will on earth (John 6:45 — Ap poiey 15115)), He shared in all things with the Father. He said in John 16:15, “All that the Father has is mine.” There were no exceptions to what the Father shared with the Son because they were united. This applied you into the souls of men and those He reconciled unto Himself through Christ (John 6:37). He enjoyed special access and influence with the Father. There were no limits as to what Jesus could ask of Father. That is because their wills are united and are like- minded in every way. Jesus explained His access to the Father, and by which we should ask all things in faith when He said, “Whatever you ask in my name, this | will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, | will do it” (John 14:13). [13:] [Romans 10:9] "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." The Word Lord is used Which Proves he is God!. [14] [Isaiah 43:25] "I, | am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and | will not remember your sins." Bible makes it clear that Only God can take sins, while Jesus takes them, verses below. “Jesus by himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high" (Hebrews 1:3) 'Purged our sins. More Verses. ‘If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” [1 John 1:9] The Bible also makes it clear clear only Jesus can take sin. [Mark 2:5-6] And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven." AND [Mark 2:10] "But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins"—he said to the paralytic." [Matthew 9:6] "But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins"—he then said to the paralytic —"Rise, take up your bed and go home." AND [Matthew 9:2]"And behold, they brought to him a paralytic, lying on his bed; and when Jesus saw their faith he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven." The Bible shows how Jesus can forgive sins! [Luke 5:20] "And when he saw their faith he said, "Man, your sins are forgiven you." And [Luke 5:24] "But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins'—he said to the man who was paralyzed—"l say to you, rise, take up your bed and go home." So in conclusion all the gospels prove That the messiah forgave sins,ONLY God can so Jesus was God,For more verses on the messiah forgiving sins you can see is [Isaiah 53:5] And [Daniel 9:24-25] [15:] In psalm 31:5 David talks about him committing his spirit to God, now reading Ecclesiastes 12:7 you can see it talks about God returning the spirit to dust as he's the one who owns it. Now let's check who the first Christian martyr was, Acts 7:55-60 talks about Stephen calling upon God and saying that he commits his spirit into Jesus hands, v60 talks about how Stephen was asking them to not charge them with sin, this is exactly what Jesus was doing on the cross when he had asked the Father to forgive them for their transgressions [Luke 23:34], psalm 116:1-4 teaches that David had called upon the name of the Lord and that he had asked to save him, Jesus had saved him at that moment from everlasting fire. [16:] [Matthew 21:16] "And they said to him, "Do you hear what these are saying?" And Jesus said to them, "Yes; have you never read, “Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise’?" And quotes psalm 8;1-3 O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is thy name in all the earth! Thou whose glory above the heavens is chanted by the mouth of babes and infants, thou hast founded a bulwark because of thy foes, to still the enemy and the avenger. When | look at thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars which thou hast established; So he was attributing the praise being given to God to himself and saying that he's the one who prepares praise, and notice how it says O Lord,Which in the Tanakh is used for God various times! (17:] [Luke 5:8] "But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, "Depart from me, for | am a sinful man, O Lord." A Prophecy to Isaiah as seen Below! What's also noteworthy is Lord of Hosts part,Being Yahweh,So a divine claim and looking at verse [Isaiah 6:3] it says Holy,Holy,Holy 3 times as in the trinity! [Isaiah 6:5] "And | said: "Woe is me! For | am lost; for | am aman of unclean lips, and | dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!" [18:] Luke relates the story of Zechariah and the miracles that accompanied the gift he received from God. Zechariah was a priest who served in the Temple. His wife Elizabeth was a cousin of Mary, who was soon to become the honored woman who would bear the Messiah in her womb. Zechariah and Elizabeth were well along in years but had never had a child. One day, as Zechariah was performing his duties in the Temple, the angel Gabriel appeared to him and told him the good news. He was going to be a father to the man who would later be known as John the Baptist. What was John's mission to be? Luke 1 16 "He will turn many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God. 17 And he will go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the disobedient to the understanding of the righteous, to make ready for the Lord a prepared people.” If you missed what was just said, read those two verses again s/owly (italics mine). Gabriel told Zechariah that John would turn "many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God." Immediately following that statement, the angel said John would go before Him, meaning Yeshua, Jesus the Messiah, "to make ready for the Lorda prepared people." John the Baptist was going to go before the very same "Lord their God" Who would use John to turn people's hearts back to Him. John was going to prepare the way for the very same God Who was coming to dwell amongst His people. But this startling statement was not made in a vacuum. It had been prophesied hundreds of years before: Malachi 3 1 “See, | am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. Then the Lord you seek will suddenly come to His temple, the Messenger of the covenant you desire—see, He is coming,” says the Lord of Hosts. Isaiah 40 3 A voice of one crying out: Prepare the way of the Lord in the wilderness; make a straight highway for our God in the desert. God Himself was coming to His Temple. And He was coming in the form of a Man. But there are more witnesses to confirm the deity of the One Who was to come in this opening chapter of the Gospel of Luke. To further highlight the truly momentous and supernatural nature of the birth which was about to take place, once more YHWH sends Gabriel to earth with a message for a particularly blessed young lady. Gabriel appeared to Mary and said, 31 Now listen: You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will call His name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most
