Whenever there is a smoke / fire, the damper receives signal from the fire control unit and gets closed, thereby minimizing the spread of smoke /fire to the other nearby areas. Blades High quality galvanized Iron Sheet of 1.6mm thickness, with flat V-type parallel blade operation. ‘Springs 2nos. constant force stainless steel springs Fusible Links: UL listed fusible links which has fire rating of 1650 F / 2120 F. Sleeve : High quality galvanized Iron Sheet of 1.2mm thickness, sleeve length depends on site requirement. DESCRIPTION: ‘The frame is made from 1.6mm thk. high quality galvanized iron sheet. All welded joints are rust proofed by zinc paint coat- ing. The blades are 3 V type grove formed from 1.6mm thick galvanized steel. Constant force stainless steel springs are firmly secured to the blades and held in place on the blade linkage. The blades are secured by UL listed fusible links which hhas a fire rating of 1650F / 2120F and thus kept out of the airstream when not in operation. ‘The heat responsive links on detection of heat beyond 1650F / 2120F release the blades from their position. Upon breaks, the blades which are interlinked by linkage connected to the springs, are closes the parallel blades and get automatically locked on a latch and remains so until reset. These fire dampers are rated upto 2 hours rating with low leakage, All dampers are manufactured in compliance to the UL 855 standards and the company's quality control procedures Upon the termination of fire condition, the damper can be re-opened (usually an access door has to be provided for inspec- tion) by simply pulling up the curtain blades and replacing the fusible link.
