NOTIFICATION

In pursuance of the Order No. 177-CS/2020 dated 18/05/2020 by the

Hontole Chief Secretary, Government of West Bengal a.nd order no.
351/HS/PA/20 Dated 7th LJuly 2020 of Additional Chief Secretary, Home & Hill
Affairs and P.A Deptts, Government of West Bengal regarding notification of
Ccontainment Zone related to outbreak of COVID-19 in Purba Bardhaman
district, 49 number of COVID-19 positive cases has been found from the
following areas.

Therefore, above noted areas are hereby declared as Containment Zone

for the period of 14 days from the date of detection of the case.
All necessary standard operating procedures with the following shall be
strictly adhered to in the Containment Zones:
1. No socio-economic activities permitted.
2. Complete access control. Cordoning of the entire unit with complete
restriction on ingress and egress. Measures like appropriate barricade,
CCTV surveillance, drone/mobile app based tracking and monitoring of
restrictions imposed.
3. Regular sanitisation/cleaning by respective local bodies.
4. Dedicated suitably equipped task force for conducting outreach fever
mapping and enforcement of restrictions imposed. Intensive testing and
contact tracing.
5. Organizing home delivery of essential commodities, medicines and health
services.
6. Appropriately equipped with protective cover e.g. PPEs, masks front line
workers will do intensive home surveillance.
This containment zone will be subjected to strict lockdown, and the
following a.ctivities, inter alia, will be closed in this area:
(i) All offices, government and private

 (ii) All non-essential activities
(iii) All congregations
(iv) All transportation
(v) All marketing/ industrial/ trading activities.
Residents of the containment zones will be exempted and prohibited from
attending government and private offices. In fact, their ingress and egress will
be strictly regulated.
All concerned are hereby informed accordingly.
