Part I - Photographs of People
In Part I of the TOEIC Listening test, you will be given fifteen photographs. For each
photograph, you will have to decide which of the four statements best describes it. This
lesson helps you practice identifying photographs of people. For a photograph of only
one person, the statement related to his / her action or appearance may be the best
answer. For a photograph in which many people are doing the same thing, you should
pay attention to their action. In case there is a person who is acting differently from the
others, that person may be the focus of the question.

Part II - Yes / No Questions
A Yes / No question is introduced by an auxiliary verb like be, have, do or a modal verb like
can, will, shall, may, could, would, should, etc. The response should start with Yes or No.
However, in the TOEIC test, Yes or No is often omitted in the responses. Instead, the speaker
may give a positive or negative response that is appropriate for the situation. You may find
various responses, such as Of course, Sure, I think so, Never, etc.
