Course Outcomes: Through this course students should be able to

CO1 :: trace the ideas about basic characteristics of Indian economy, its potential on natural
resources.

CO2 :: evaluate a comprehensive understanding of the current issues influencing economic


growth of India

CO3 :: focus on the understanding of Critical concerns of Indian economy

CO4 :: develop the analytical skills among students relating with core economic debates in the
context of India

CO5 :: demonstrate the importance of planning undertaken by the government of India, have
knowledge on the various objectives, failures and achievements of the previous and ongoing
planning and economic reforms taken by the government.
