Proposed Title 1 EFFECT OF COVID 19 PANDEMIC ON THE MENTAL HEALTH OF

ADOLESCENTS

What? Mental Health Status of the respondents

Who? Adolescents

WHO defines 'Adolescents' as individuals in the 10-19 years age group.

In the proposed study, the researchers will just cover late adolescence
stage ages 18-21.

Where? Via Social Media

The researchers will be using purposive sampling in which they will

choose the respondents who belong to ages 18-21, most likely those
whom they can contact easily.

How? Checklist/ Likert Scale (Refer to the questionnaire.)

Why? The researchers would like to know the effect of Covi19 on the mental
health of the respondents for the following reasons:

1. To determine if the pandemic has affected positively or negatively

the respondents’ mental health

2. To identify the contributory factors affecting their mental health

especially in this time of pandemic.

3. To provide recommendations on how they can improve their

mental health in case needed.
