To increase the productivity of a well in tight reservoirs.

When the well were economical, one of them

can be accomplished by simulation of hydraulic fracturing. The aim of this study was to increase a well in
permeability and production. therefore, The well can produced optimally. In the AP-47 well was still
economical to be able to produce. Hence, Hydraulic fracturing was an option in increasing formation
permeability.

In The AP-47, The evaluation of the frac result has been carried out to find out the success at the tight
formation after cracked. The first step used frac design data. Thus, it was generated actual data. Before
The frac process was step rate test. Afterward, it followed by mini fracturing and The final was main
fracturing, each step will produced pressure and results of formation frac.

Based on the results of the frac, The production has increased to 136 bfpd from 56 bfpd previously. The
evaluation of fractures showed that the fracture permeability was 42.2 mD, The average fracture
permeability was 53.19 mD with fracture conductive dimension (FCD) results which showed the rw´ /
re value was 51.63 ft with the result the productivity index increased 2.96-fold. to see the IPR curve used
3 phases with the calculation of the oil flow rate and water flow rate were separately and has a high
water cut. Therefore, with the 3 phase method of wiggins used to produce a flow rate before and after
frac showed significant results.
