Name and brief description of the food
Chop Suey is a stir-fried vegetable dish that is cooked with meats such as chicken, this
hopefully creates a dish dancing with flavors on your tongue. But shockingly enough, some of
the most famous dishes arose from mere accidents or efforts to whip out a meal that won’t taste
half bad. And if these efforts work out, we end up with something along the lines of the greatly
endeared Chop Suey.

CHOP SEUY
INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR CHOP SEUY:
1/4kg chicken breast
1 tsp garlic
2 tsps corn starch
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 piece cabbage quartered
1 cup green bell pepper, slice
1 cup red bell pepper sliced
1 cauliflower small, cut into small pieces
1 1/2 cups snow peas
1 cup carrots sliced
1 cup onion diced
juice
1 1/4 cups water
pepper
salt

Material needed for preparation:

3 Small bowls
5 Medium bowls
2 Large bowls
1 Small plate
Chopping board
Knife
Sauteing pan
Frying pan
Ladle
Strainer
Procedure:
1. Heat oil in a wok or pan.
2. Saute onion. Add garlic and continue to saute until the onion becomes soft.
3. Add chicken breast. Stir fry until light brown.
4. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir.
5. Pour water. Let boil. Cover and cook in medium heat for 15 minutes.
6. Add cauliflower, carrots, bell peppers, snow peas, and young corn. Stir.
7. Add cabbage. Toss. Cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
8. Add ground black pepper.
9. Add the cornstarch diluted in water.
10. Transfer to a serving plate. Serve.
