Yong-Gu was an innocent man with an intellectual disability, but due to the detectives' interest in

his case, they humiliated and deceived him, taking advantage of his condition to get him to sign
a sworn statement claiming that he molested and murdered the commissioner's daughter. This
situation also happens in our real lives. The movie tells and shows how unfair and cruel the
justice system is. It also tells us that the death penalty is not the solution. Killing someone is too
much and also a violation.

Selective justice is injustice. Justice only works on people who are rich and privileged. You can
have your justice if you have the power. Most people who are in jail are people who have
financial problems and could not afford to have their lawyer and it clearly explains what kind of
system we have. Tokhang and the death penalty are one of them. They are doing their dirty
works on people who have no power and voice to fight back.

The Justice system revolves around richness, power, and privileged. This kind of people has no
morals and decency on them. And honestly, it is frightening. Its terrifying because we know that
we can be a victim of injustices and crimes that we know that we could not do. It is horrifying to
live in this world full of monsters and knowing that you are their prey.
