PURPOSE OF THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL INFORMATION ‘The manual gives instructions on how to use the machine, technical details, instructions on moving, installation, adjustment and use, and covers maintenance work and ordeting spare parts, 2.2 - INTENDED USER OF THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL This instruction manual is intended for: + Transport, loading and unloading personnel, Operators, Installers, Maintenance personnel 2. INSTRUCTION MANUAL APPLICATION This instruction manual works as a guide on the mixer moving, assembly, adjusting, maintenance and -epairing, 2. INSTRUCTION MANUAL LIMITATIONS Bear in mind that the manual is only a summary of the main procedures to follow and can never be a substitute for an experienced operator. ‘The instruction manual refers to the technology current at the time of purchase and the producer reserves the right to update the instruction manual and equipment without reference to any previous instruction manuals and products, except in exceptional cases, 2.5 - HOW TO PRESERVE THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL Remember that the manual should be retained for the life of the machine, Its cover is designed to protect it from wear. ‘Two copies of the section on “moving the machine” are supplied (this allows both transport and unloading personnel to refer to this section without having to consult the main text), “the manual is mislaid or destroyed, you can request another copy either from the atea representative ‘or directly from the producer. You should give the machine type, the serial number and the year of producer 2.6 - WARNINGS IMPORTANT: Never carry out any operations or manoeuvres if you are unsure of what you are doing, Contact the producer or area representative, ‘The producer takes no responsibility for damage caused by the ma persons or the product through: -Incorreet use of the machine or use by unsuitable personnel -Incorreet installation -Electricity supply faults Incorrect maintenance -Unauthorised work or modifications ~The use of non-original spare parts or parts which are not specific to the model -Total or partial non-compliance with the instructions -Exceptional circumstances ne to property, 3) MOVING AND INSTALLING THE MACHINE This section gives information on how to load and unload, move and install the machine. 3.1— ON RECEIVING THE MACHINE ‘The machine is supplied without any packing, is pre-assembled and is ready for connection to the electricity supply. IMPORTANT: On receiving the machine, check that it has not suffered any damage du If it has been damaged: A) Contact the area representative B) Make a written report C) Send copies of the report to: -The transporter’s insurance company -The transport company ‘he producerr or area representative 3.2 — PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS. Personnel mo the machine require no special training, It is recommended, however, that this operation is undertaken by someone who is familiar with operating lifting equipment." 3.3 — INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIFTING AND MOVING THE MACHINE the machine can be lifted using a bridge crane, a self-propelling crane, a fork lift truck or other suitable means having @ minimum capacity of twice the weight of the machine, The machine has suitable lifting points on the ends of the tank which are identified by a sign For overall dimensions and unladen weight see fig5-fig.6. IMPORTANT: Ensure that the load is correctly balanced, In case of accidental collision, check the extent of any damage immediately and, if necessary, contact the producer, 3, STATIC AND DYNAMIC LOADS ‘The static and dynamic loads that the machine exerts on the installation site are given in the following table, Mixer type Empty Ke Static Ke MAO 2250/1500 | - 6500 ___ 10700 MAO 3000/2000 7530 12330 MAO 4500/3000 9200 16400 MAO 4500/3500 9700 17050 MAO 6000/4000 11800 19200 MAO 6750/4500 | _‘12200, 21720 The loads given above are some of the factors to be taken into consideration when calculating the strength of the support structures, If the machine is supplied with a support structure, follow exactly the procedure shown in the assembly diagram, a (SICOMA tors side 4 Fig 6 **PLEASE FIND THE EXACT DIMENSION AT PAGE 6 = (SICOMA) 3.5 — CHECKING OIL AND HYDRAULIC FLUID LEVELS IMPORTANT: On ‘iving the machine (and therefore before it is started), check the oil level in the mixing units and hydraulic pump. If, for transport purposes, the machine is dispatehed lying on the side, neither the gearboxes nor the pump will contain oil. These reducers must be filled before the installation, ‘This section gives all the information necessary to connect the mixer to the contro! panel. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS, ‘The only connection necessary is from the control panel to the power supply, using a cable supplied by the customer. MIXER ELECTRIC DIAGRAM ssa Cove sorte: xe /scnoenzse re ‘au pera 8.08) ov RERWSCL PLEASE TAKE Tae Connections by the customer: 1) Two main motors (380VAC)—Connect the main motor with the 380V power by the user switchboard, The two main motor'are Y- A reduced voltage starting and need seperate contactor and heat protector. 2) Discharge door motor (380VAC)——Connect 380v power from user switchboard to the high voltage junction box. The wiring from the junction box to the motor is already installed by producer, HR (SICOMA) Pay attention to the motor rotating direction after connection, Refer to Fig 11 for the assembly connection diagram, 3) Lubrication pump (24VDC)-—IF the lubrication pump is with 380VAC motor, connect the 380v power from user swtichboard to the pump motor junction box contactor. If the pump is with 24VDV motor, the connection is already done by the producer. 4) Discharge door approach switch (24VDC)— connect the power from the user control board to the low-voltage junction box. User needs to provide 24VDC power and input the approach switch model into the controlling system PLC to control the discharge door. Schematic drawing is shown in Fig 16 and diagram as Fig 12, 5) Dicharge door solenoid (24VDC)— There are two types of solenoid for discharge door, 20VAC and 24VDC, which works simutaneously with the motor. Connect the 220VAC or 24VDC power from the controlling switchboard to the high-voltage junction box. Diagram as shown in Fig 11. 6) Seal end air pressure sealing solenoid—The air pressure device opens the solenoid during batch feeding and closes it when the discharge door is opening, Connect the power 220VAC from tser control switchboard to the high-voltage junction box. Diagram is shown as Fig 11, 7) Cover safety switch —Connect to the main motor through the low-voltage junction box. ‘The main motor stops working when the cover inspection window is opened. Diagram is shown as Fig 15 8) Discharge door pressure switeh—Conneet to the main motor through the high-voltage junction box. Diagram is shown as Fig 15. : IMPORTANT: ‘The electricity connection cable must conform to UNI EN 60309-1-2 regulations. The voltage drop must also be checked and should comply with the formula: AV
