Missing link

The missing link projects starts from khopli and ends at kusgaon just before pune, since there is a lot of
traffic conjution at khandala ghat exit, As it comes under the ghat region,usually there are landslide and
accident so they have to block the one side of the highway so it causes heavy traffic jams and always
increase of time travel. Due to these problems, MSRDC(Maharashtra state road development
corporation) has started this project of missing link project. The total length of the project is 13.3 km
which decrease the travel time upto 25 min and there will be reduction in distance by 6km from
Mumbai to pune. In this project there will be 2 tunnels and two bridges, these twin tunnels will have a
breadth of 50m , these tunnel will be one of the longest tunnel of india and In this project both bridges
has the total length 2.8 km. The total estimated cost of the missing link project is approx 6700cr The
deadline of the project is 2023. As now I conclude the project. This is all about Mumbai pune express
highway and missing link project.
