My Name

Honestly I don’t know what my name means. Three years ago I heard a story from my mom about the
origin of my name “Duță”. It was a Colonel that he was recruiting soldiers for the Second War World II.
Then he met a woman who has given to him a place to stay and food. The man fall in love with her and
after a short period they got married and the name “Duță” continued for generations. It is funny that when
a person met me for the first time he pronounce it wrong like “Duțu” or something else.Or they compare
me with the composer and singer the all mighty Nicolae Guță.
About my surname I can’t tell something interesting.
