As we bid adieu to a tumultuous year, we believe that the worst is behind us. It is time for us to smile, take a deep breath and work towards building a brighter future for ourselves. While some may choose to wait for things to change, we at SBI, are determined to actually go ahead and make it happen — and that is the power of positive thinking. History teems with examples of ordinary people achieving extraordinary feats by the virtue of sheer willpower. A positive attitude towards life, people, work and the environment helps us see the world differently. When our optimism is stronger than our fears, we begin to embrace our emotions and learn from the mistakes of the past. Harmony and happiness take over our lives, which becomes less stressful and more blissful. As the world gears up to recover from the huge economic downturn due to the pandemic, we at SBI, see 2021 as the year of opportunities. As we speak, almost every sector of the economy is already on the road to recovery. As the economy recuperates, the manufacturing sector is making progress, people are saving more, preference for local products has increased and targeted stimulus on employment and other benefits are helping our cause immensely. We thank the citizens of the Nation for trusting and giving us the opportunity to serve like never before. We look forward to the future with faith and hope.
