1. For the concept of happiness, write a conceptual definition (ideally, this should be
obtained from literature or theory) and write the operational definition in the form of
multi-item scale.

Happiness is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction,


contentment, and fulfillment. it is often described as involving positive emotions and life
satisfaction. 

1) Do You have more positive thoughts then negative?


2) Do you feel satisfied or content with your current life?
3) Do you feel like you’re living the life you wanted to?
4) Do you feel that you’ve accomplished what you wanted to in your life?

2. For the concept of self-esteem, write a conceptual definition (ideally, this should be
obtained from literature or theory) and write the operational definition in the form of
multi-item scale.

The term self-esteem is used to describe a person's overall subjective sense of personal
worth or value.  In other words, how much a person appreciates and like themselves.

1) You feel confident about yourself


2) You can easily express yourself
3) You embrace both your strengths and weaknesses
4) You cherish both your success and failures
