What do you think is more motivating to read: academic texts or non-academic texts?
Why?
For me, both of them are motivating to read. But academic texts are more motivating to
read because this is what the school used in order for us to learn many things. Reading
academic texts improves your mind and helps you gain knowledge on the things you know
and you don’t know. As a medical student, academic texts are very important because most
of our lessons are from medical books. Also, academic texts have a big role in doing
research. They are used as a review of related literature or citation. In other words, academic
texts help you gain and learn information that will help you broaden your mind and widen
your knowledge.
