HOW TO INSTALL LIGHTROOM PRESETS ON YOUR COMPUTER

PC

1. Make sure you have the most up to date version of Lightroom.

2. Purchase and download your new Presets
3. Open Lightroom and go to “edit>preferences” from the menu bar.
4. Click on “Show Lightroom Develop Presets’ button near the center of the screen.
a. This will open a windows explorer screen.
5. You should now see a screen with a handful of folders. Open the folder labeled ‘Develop
Presets”
6. Copy and paste the entire folder of your new presets into this folder.
7. Restart Lightroom.
8. Lightroom may convert your preset to a more compatible version. This is normal.
9. You are now ready to use your brand new presets!

MAC

1. Make sure you have the most up to date version of Lightroom.

2. Purchase and download your new Presets
3. Open Lightroom and go to “Lightroom>preferences” from the menu bar.
4. Click on “Show all other lightroom Presets’ button near the center right of the screen.
a. This will open a new finder window.
5. You should now see a screen with a handful of folders. Open the folder labeled ‘Camera Raw”
6. Now open the ‘Settings’ folder.
7. Copy and paste the entire folder of your new presets into this folder.
8. Restart Lightroom.
9. You are now ready to use your brand new presets!
