PREPARE A FIVE MINUTES ORAL PRESENTATION ON A LIST

OF 5 THINGS PEOPLE CAN DO TO HELP ENDANGERED

SPECIES.
5 things people can do to help endangered species:
1. Use fewer plastic products.
The oceans are full of plastic and there are more and more places where
small fragments are being found, this is not only unpleasant, it also causes a
lot of damage to the species that have to live there and that end up with that
material in the stomach.

2. less use of fossil fuels.

This generates emissions of gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide
and other gases that have contributed and still contribute to generate and
enhance the greenhouse effect, acid rain, air, soil and water pollution. The
polluting effects are not only linked to their combustion but also to
transport (oil spills) and the by-products they originate (hydrocarbons and
toxic derivatives). The situation worsens when the growing demand for
energy, goods and services is considered, due to the increase in the world
population and consumption patterns.

3. Report activities such as hunting, fishing and / or sale of protected species.

Animal trafficking is one of the greatest threats to protected species. Each
year they kill more than 100,000 species. and because of this many species
such as the tiger, the rhinoceros, the bear, are in danger of extinction.

4. Respect the spaces where the animals live.

Do not pollute waters of rivers, seas and other natural spaces by throwing
garbage, not build in their areas, reduce tree felling, and thus avoid
deforestation of forests and the destroying of the habitat of some species. we
have to protect and respect the nature reserves.

5. Collaborate with entities dedicated to the conservation of species.

spread information about the importance of animals, make known about the
damage we are causing to animals. we can help as a volunteer in species
protection programs.
