Primary and secondary reflections are about how we inquire things around and
within us. As social and intellectual beings, it is in our nature that we would always reflect.
There is always something to think and reflect upon in any situation, but thinking alone
may not be enough to help us to begin to act upon it. That is why I think learning about
these kinds of reflections is important. Knowing what it is that we should think about gives
us a clearer picture of the situation, and hopefully that helps us act upon it and get through
the situation.

Martin Heidegger calls humans as Dasein, meaning being-in-the-world. I think that

no human cannot be called Dasein. The moment a human is born, they are already
connected to the things surrounding them. I interpret Dasein as “no one is born to be alone”
and to me that is a wonderful concept.

All humans have limitations, no matter how better you may be than others in any
aspect, there is always a limit therefore no one is perfect. But our limitations should not
stop us, we need to acquire the right mind set to overcome them. That is how we humans
can transcend. We have to thank the limitations we experience in our lives, for without
them, we have no need to overcome anything. That is why we should also make use of our
abilities to transcend. Because of humans overcoming their limitations, that is how we have
come this far and how we can continue to evolve, and how we achieve freedom.
Transcendence for me is how we gain freedom. Our limitations is what shackles us and
denies us the freedom to make our choices ad do what we want. Overcoming our
limitations gives us a higher state of freedom than before. No matter what the situation, no
matter how significant the problem, and no matter how big the limitation, we should
always strive for the opportunity to overcome them. And I should promise myself to always
keep that in mind in every point in my life.
