HUNG (M; 27) and TRANG (F; 21) rent a small inn by the lakeside.

Nearby, there is an abandoned floating house with a shape like a stranded boat.
This house used to be the traditional house of the Vietnam Feature Film Studio.
After the changes in the market economy and globalization, it seems that the
studio's mission has come to an end. Following that, unemployment filmmakers
and studio staff held demonstrations hopelessly.
One night, through a rectangular hole in the wall shaped like a movie screen, a
strange scene from an old movie appears before their eyes.
TRANG discovers HUNG's scripts. She advises Hung to turn one of them into a
movie.
VAN (F; 50), an elderly woman who runs a gambling business and loves
artists and writers. Through her's recommendation, Hung meets an old famous
screenwriter who is immersed in parties and women. And he suffers from a
stroke and can’t read HUNG's script.
The second person HUNG meets in the desire to shoot his movie with a low
budget is an unemployed cinematographer.
Then he meets a middle-aged overseas Vietnamese who considers himself a
film producer and promises to invest money on HUNG’s film project.
HUNG always imagine TRANG has sex with all the men he meets, while he
makes love to Van.
Running out of money and being stuck in a deadlock, HUNG and TRANG often
quarrel. TRANG becomes more and more crazy. She often threatens to commit
suicide and hurts herself. Meanwhile, the old staff of the Vietnam Feature Film
Studio are still restlessly fighting and demonstrating for jobs and the re-
occupation against the system stagnation.

One day, TRANG disappears. What happens to TRANG?
