In the video they tell us about four types of market segmentation and the benefits
incorporanting them into your marketing strategy.:

1. Market segmentation: the market is segmented in relation to interests,


needs, wants and motivations. Makes it easy to find the target market for
products, services and content
2. Demographic segmentation: The market is segmented into age, gender,
income, occupation, education, marital status, religión y nationality. It
facilitates the measurement and analysis of the collected data.
3. Geographic segmentation: The market is segmented by location such as
countries, regions, cities or neighborhoods. Aspects such as climate, culture
and language are also taken into account. This helps to have a much more
successful communication.
4. Behavioral segmentation: Users are segmented into whether they buy in
the market, website or application. and that data is analyzed through google
analytics or by using particular algorithms, this helps personalize ads and
improve customer feedback.
5. Psychological segmentation: segmentation is made based on values,
personality, interests and opinions. completely personalized.

Proposal About A Product Or Service In the Albert’s City

The proposal in the city of Albert will be based on the segmentation of the youth
market since they represent more than 3 million people in the city. The service that
could be proposed for the young population would be to spend leisure time, in this
case it would be a sports equipment rental shop. In this rental store they would have
balls, sports equipment, and bicycles to be loaned for as long as the young man.

Marketing will be done through social networks, which in this case will have great
influence due to the use of this segment of the population. The youth will have as an
incentive discounts for the rent in the store up to free rentals for the frequency of the
youth's rent.
