GUIDELINES FOR SUMMER PROJECT (MBA/MBA)
Summer Project is an integral part of the DLP MBA/DLP BBA programme of
Faculty of Management, JaganNath University. He/she has to submit his
project for completion of DLP MBA/DLP BBA. He/she has to appear for viva
on scheduled date for his/her project.
Objective of the Summer Project:
1. To provide an extensive exposure to the student.
2. To ensure that the corporate will get adequate return from the students in
terms of the money and time.
Project Report: All the students have to prepare and submit a written project.
This is not necessarily be a statistical or analytical report; it could be a
learning and experience sharing too. The project report will have to be
certified by the faculty guide. Detailed guidelines for writing Project
Report is attached herewith for your reference. The project may be
related to following broader areas-
Marketing- Consumer Behaviour, Advertising strategies, pricing
strategies, E-marketing, Promotional techniques,
Finance- Financial statement analysis, cost control techniques, Capital
structure analysis, Micro-finance, working capital analysis etc.
Human resource- Recruitment, Selection, Training, Appointment &
Orientation, Job rotation, Job satisfaction, Job engagement etc.
Information technology- Management Information system, Human
Resource Information system, Financial Information system, Enterprise
Resource Planning etc.

Evaluation by the Faculty Guide (Internal Evaluation) : 50%

Aim and Objectives of the Project Work
The project is an activity assigned to each student to identify a problem at the firm level/industry level and
undertake a research study, through a systematic research methodology. The students have to analyze the data
using appropriate techniques and draw-up conclusion and recommendations.
