Notes:
1. "Discharge of weated effluent into sea shall be through proper marine outfall. Te existing shore
discharges shall be converted to marine outalls. In cases where the marine outfall provides a
minimum initial dilution of 150 times at the point of discharge and a minimum dilution of 1500
times ata point 100 m away from discharge point, then, the State Board may relax the Chemical
Oxygen Demand (COD) limit:(om Tas 3G] sre 1a: TNT 1
Provided thatthe maximum pennisible value for Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) in weed
} effivent shall be 500 miligetre
2. ®Maximum permissible Fixed Dissolved Solids (FDS) contibution by constituent wits of a
Common Eitvent Treatment Plant (CETP) shall be 1000 milligrams, In cases where Fed
Dissolved Solids FDS) concentaton in raw water wsed by the constituent units is already high
Gets more than 1100 miligranditre) then the maximum permissible value for Fixed Dissolved
Solis (FDS) in ested effluent shall be aocordingly modified by the State Board
S. In-ease of discharge of treated event on lan for iigation, the impact on sol and groundwater
quality shall be monitored twice a year (pre-and postemonsoon) by Common Effluent Treatment
Planss (CETP) management. For combined discharge of tested effluent and sewage on land for
irigation, the mixing ratio with sewage shall be prescribed hy State Board
