wala handa,wala pera,wala jowa,wala kame nito
wala ganyan,
hindi po bat ang unang pasko ay naganap sa
isang napakasimpleng sabsaban?tingin nyo po
ba nag handa sila mary and Joseph during that
time?
Tingin nyo po, nagpunta doon ang mga pantas
upang makikaen at mamasko dahil alam nilang ang
ipapanganak ay ang siyang magiging Hari ?

No, walang handa, walang pamasko,walang

Christmas tree,ninong o ninang,
Yet , they were filled with Great Joy.
And they have brought gifts for Jesus. AND THEY HAVE COME
TO ? TO GIVE THEIR GIFTS AND WORSHIP BABY JESUS.
Para kanino po? kay Jesus.

Napakarami po nating dahilan para maging Masaya,

hindi lamang po sa araw ng kapaskuhan ,kundi
habang tayo po ay nabubuhay. Marami po tayong
dapat ipag pasalamat, at isa sa pinakamahalagang
dapat na nagiging dahilan kung bakit tayo Masaya
ay dahil sa isang Magandang balita!!

Tama po ba?sino dito Masaya kapag

nakakatanggap o nakakarinig ng isanag magandang
balita?

Eh kaso,sa naranasan po natin buong taon??parang

ang lagging na hahighlight sa ating mga balita ay
yung mga MASAMANG BALITA EH?

para kay Joseph noong una nya itong nabalitaan.

MATTHEW 1:18-25 Joseph Accepts Jesus as His

Son

This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about [a]: His mother Mary was pledged
to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant
through the Holy Spirit. 19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet [b]
did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and
said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because
what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you
are to give him the name Jesus,[c] because he will save his people from their sins.”

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will
conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” [d] (which means “God
with us”).
24
When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and
took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave
birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

JOSEPH played a very important role in the life of

Mary‘s son. He was the boy’s earthly father and the
one who named him Jesus. Thus accepting the baby
as his own, His ancestry provided this child with
a place in the royal line of David. Because he
believed the message from the angel, Joseph
lovingly supported Mary and her son.
In Jewish society, an engagement was more than
a pledge to be
married. It actually required a legal process to
terminate it, very similar to the requirements for a
divorce. When Mary became pregnant, she would
have been found guilty of adultery if Joseph had
proceeded with a divorce.
This could have resulted In Mary’s death according
to Jewish Law. (Deuteronomy 22:23-24)
“STONED THEM TO DEATH”
JOSEPH’S ACCEPTANCE PLAYED
A VERY IMPORTANT ROLE FOR
MAKING OUR CHRISTMAS POSSIBLE.
Joseph could have abandoned Jesus and Mary and
just let them suffer from the consequences. But
because of what the angle had told Him in his
dream, Joseph had a revelation to accept the child
and consider it as His own.

ACCEPTING THE UNEXPECTED

Di po ba, ang hirap tanggapin ng mga bagay kung

ito ay UNEXPECTED? Lalo na kung ito ay BAD
NEWS..

paniwalaan..,kase nga hindi mo ito inaasahan,,,

Have you ever come to a point where in may

dumating sa buhay mo na hindi mo kalian man
inasahan,pero biglang dumateng?
JUST LIKE WHAT JOSEPH HAD EXPERIENCED,
something came in their life na kailanman ay hindi
nila inasahan, and it is a very devastating news na
malaman mong buntis ang papakasalan mo palang
sanang babae na iningatan mo jusy to make their
relationship pure?

But then again, ano pong ginawa ni Joseph?

Nakinig Siya,Sumunod, at tinanggap ng buong puso
at itinuring itong kanya.
“SOMETIMES, YOU DON’T HAVE TO
UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING
THAT HAPPENS IN YOUR
LIFE, (SPECIALLY THE THINGS
THAT IS BEYOND OUR
IMAGINATION),

SOMETIMES, IT IS
ENOUGH FOR US TO SIMPLY
LISTEN, TRUST AND OBEY WHAT GOD IS
TELLING US TO DO”

pangyayari,.sa mga panahong NAGPAPAKABUTI
KA, wala kang ginagawang masama pero may mga
dumarating na mga balitang hindi natin ninanais na
matanggap.SAKUNA,KARAMDAMA N, MGA
AWAY,TAMPUHAN,…
these things that happen in our family, even in our
church…siguro, Kung hindi tayo nag karoon ng
obedience to God, it could have lead us to be
devided, kanya kanya, pagkakawatak watak.
(spiritually devorced)..gaya ng naramdaman ni
joseph,,He did his best to make their relationship
pure but all of a sudden, Mary got pregnant, it could
be the most devastating heart breaking
moment that could happen to a groom. At PWEDE
NA SYANG MAG DECIDE RIGHT AWAY NA
HIWALAYAN SI MARY.
PERO HINDI,,HE DECIDED TO LISTEN TO GOD
AND ACCEPTED JESUS AS HIS OWN.

HE CHOOSES TO LOVE
for the past 10 years of my life in this church,.ILANG
BESES KO PONG NASAKSIHAN ANG ILANG MGA
BAD NEWS NA DUMATING AT SINUBUKANG
PAGHIWALAYIN ANG BAWAT ISA SA ATIN.

I have witnessed its ups and downs,, nakita ko kung

paano ito ilang beses na sinubukang yanigin ng
kaaway..maraming pagkakataon na nag karoon tayo
ng mga tampuhan,di pagkakaunawaan, ilang
pamilya po ang sinubukang wasakin ng kaaway sa
eglesyang ito,.. NGUNIT NAKITA KO RIN, kung
paanong unti unting BINUO, ININGATAN,Inayos ng
Diyos ang bawat isa po sa atin.

TINURUAN PO TAYONG
TANGGAPIN ANG ISAT ISA,
UNAWAIN ANG ANG BAWAT KAHINAAN AT
ABUTIN ANG
BAWAT NANGANGAILANGAN.
bago po nagka pandemic, marami po tayong mga
bagay na ginagawa para sa kaharian ng Diyos. We
are all busy doing our ministry, attending the church
as much as possible dahil baka hanapin tayo ni
kapatid. Some of us considered it already as a
weekly routine na parang requirements nalang sa
langit ang umattend sa church.

But NO!!!AGAIN,
THE LORD DIDN’T ALLOWED IT TO
CONTINUE, HE WORKS FOR THE
GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVES
HIM !

MORE THAN THAT, HE IS THE ONE THAT GAVE

US SOMETHING ON THE DAY HE WAS BORN.

Hindi dahil naging Mabuti tayo, hindi dahil sa

birthday mo, hindi dahil sa ikaw ang pinaka
masunurin sa Diyos,,, kundi dahil sa kanyang
habag.
again, this gift that we have from God is not because
of the good things that we have done…it is simply
because of God’s grace.

Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through
faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of
God.

SO BAKIT KA MALULUNGKOT NGAYONG

KAPASKUHAN? HINDI BAT HIGIT PA SA
MAMAHALING GAMIT ANG NATANGAP NATIN.
Isang Diyos ang nagkatawang tao para lang ibigay
ang kanyang buhay. He chose to be REJECTED BY
THIS WORLD SO THAT WE MAY BE ACCEPTED
IN HEAVEN. AGAIN, BY HIS GRACE AND LOVING
MERCY.

JOSEPH IS NOT JUST THE ONLY PERSON THAT

HAVE BEEN BOTHERED BY THIS NEWS ABOUT
THE BIRTH OF A CHILD.

There is also a KING named HEROD THAT

unintentionally received this news. BUT HIS
RESPONSE TO THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF
JOSEPH’S DECISION TO ACCEPT IT.

2 Now  after Jesus was born in  Bethlehem of Judea  in the days of Herod the

are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for from you shall come a ruler

7 Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from
them what time the star had appeared. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem,
saying, “Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found
him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.” 9 After listening
to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen
when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the
child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great
joy. 11 And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother,
and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures,  they r

The Flight to Egypt

Now when they had departed, behold,  an angel of the Lord appeared

to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee
to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the
child, to destroy him.” 14 And he rose and took the child and his mother by
night and departed to Egypt 15 and remained there until the death of
Herod.  This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet,  “Out of

Egypt I called my son.”

Herod Kills the Children

16 Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men,
became furious, and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem
and in all that region who were two years old or under, according to the time
that he had ascertained from the wise men. 17  Then was fulfilled what was
a

spoken by the prophet Jeremiah:

 18  b“A voice was heard in Ramah,
weeping and loud lamentation,
Rachel weeping for her children;
she refused to be comforted, because they  are no more.”

The Return to Nazareth

19 But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a
dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 saying, “Rise, take the child and his mother
and go to the land of Israel, for  those who sought the child’s life are

dead.” 21 And he rose and took the child and his mother and went to the
land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea
in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there, and  being warned in

a dream he withdrew to the district of Galilee. 23 And he went and lived in a

city called  Nazareth,  so that what was spoken by the prophets might be

fulfilled, that he would be called a Nazarene.

HIS RESPONSE TO THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF

JOSEPH’S DECISION TO ACCEPT IT.
HIS DECISION IS TO KILL JESUS AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE, sa kadahilanang alam nyang ito ay
maaring umagaw ng kanayang trono balang araw.

His reaction,the way he plan things,and response ay

hindi nalalayo sa marami po sa atin,.that whenever
THINGS COMES THE WAY WE DIDN’T EXPECT
IT,.WE TRY TO ELIMINATE IT.

WHY?
IT MIGHT AFFECT THE THINGS THAT WE VALUE
THE MOST.

WHAT DO WE VALUE THE MOST? ARE WE

AFRAID TO LOSE IT? WHY? IS IT OURS? IS IT
YOURS?

From the very beginning of this world, many have

tried to own this world, even the Highest positioned
angel had a desire to Have Gods Possession, even
Gods Position.

Everything in this world belongs to God, including our

family, your talents, your possessions, your life., your
job and carreer also comes from God, for he is the
one that planted it inside of us.

Wala tayong pagmamay ari dito sa mundo, kaya ang

lahat ng meron sa atin ay pagmamayari ng Diyos.
Deuteronomy 10:14----Behold, to the Lord your God belong
heaven and the highest heavens, the earth and all that is in it.

Base on Herod’s reaction :

on verse 2(niv) 3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed,

and all Jerusalem with him. 

3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with
him;(English standard version) 

It only shows that he wanted to protect His throne

from being taken away from him. Resulting in to a
very brutal act of killing all the boys in and around
Bethlehem who were two years old and under.(v.16)
This day is suppose to be a day to celebrate and to
be thankful that finally, our savior has arrived. Pero
dahil sa mga makasariling hangarin ni King Herod.
Nagdulot ito ng isang malagim na araw para sa mga
taga Bethlehem.

When things turn out to be not as planned, we get

disturbed and troubled, leading us to make an
unnecessary action. And sometimes , these actions
can cause harm to others.

May mga pagakataon po talaga na minsan hindi po

natin namamalayan na dahil sa mga pansarili nating
kagustuhan, marami po ang naapektuhan and it
simply because WE REJECTS THE WILL OF GOD,
AND LEAN ON OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING .
KUNG NAIINTINDIHAN LAMANG PO SANA NI KING
HEROD ANG KAHLUGAN NG
PAGKAKAPANGANAK NI JESUS,, HINDI NA SANA
HAHANTONG PA SA GANITO.

THE RESPONSE OF Joseph and king Herod about

the birth of Jesus Christ are two different thigs.

Both receive the News.ngunit naging magkaiba ang

kanilang naging decision about what to do about it.
Joseph had it as a bad news at first, but decided to
accept it as His obedience to the will of the Lord, and
ended up successful in fulfilling the will of the Lord.

While King Herod received the news and decided not

to accept it and make his own way of solving it by all
means. Ended up dying without fulfilling his plan.

Ang kapanganakan ni Jesus ay isang BAGONG

BAGAY para sa mga taong kay tagal nang
naghihintay ng kaligtasan at sa wakas dumating na
ito.
Sino po ditong naniniwala na sa darating na Taon na
ito ay may mga bagong bagay na
ipaparanas,ipapakita at gagawin ang Diyos sa ating
buhay?

Let us prepare ourselves

expect the unexpected.

be ready to accept what has been given

and trust what God is allowing.

We may not like what happens in our daily life
situation, but having it done through our own ability is
not a good idea to resolve it. Just like what Joseph
did, For us to Fullfill Gods Purpose in our life this
coming season:

1.LISTEN :
HOW? Bible, making our relationship deeper by
having our personal time with him,
Attend bible studies, etc.

KUNG HINDI PO nakinig si joseph to what the

angel had told him in his dream, maaring hindi po
natupad ang plano ng Diyos.But because he
listened to GODS INSTRUCTION, GOD’S PLAN
TO SAVE THE HUMANITY WAS FULLFILLED.
 Kaya, napaka halaga po ang PAKIKINIG.

2.TRUST : MATAPOS PO nating mapakinggan ang

instruction ng Lord, see to it that we will gonna
TRUST HIS WORD.

Madali pong making, pero HINDI PO GANUN

KADALI ANG BASTA MAGTIWALA.

For sure, after Joseph had his dream, there is a

complete TRUST for him to instantly follow what
has been said.

3.OBEY
KUNG NARINIG PO NATIN ANG SALITA NG
DIYOS, AT LUBUSAN PO NATIN ITONG
PINAGKAKATIWALAAN,. HINDI NA PO GANUN
KAHIRAP ANG SUMUNOD.

OBEYING WHAT GOD IS TELLING US TO DO IS

TO SHOW THAT WE ARE TRUSTING HIS WORD
THAT WE HAVE HEARD.
OBEYING TO THE COVICTION AND GOD’S
REVELATION IS ONE OF THE KEY REASON
WHY JESUS SUCCEEDED TO BE BORN AND
FULLFILLED HIS PURPOSE HERE ON EARTH.

WITHOUT LISTENING, TRUST AND OBEDIENCE

TO GOD’S INSTRUCTION, JOSEPH COULD
HAVE DONE IT WRONG.

WE, AS A CHURCH,HAS AN INSTRUCTION

FROM OUR GOD TO LOVE EACH OTHER AS IF
WE ARE DOING IT FOR OUR SELVES…..AS A
BODY OF CHRIST, WE ARE ALL INSTRUCTED
TO LOVE EVEN OUR ENEMY…

SPESCIALLY IN THIS SEASON KUNG SAAN ISA

NANAMANG PANIBAGONG TAON ANG ATING
SASALUBUNGIN NG MAGKAKASAMA, ISANG
PANIBAGING TAON NANAMAN ANG ATING
PAGSASALUSALUHAN, ISANAG BUONG TAON
NANAMAN TAYONG GAGAMITIN AT
PAGPAPALAIN NG DIYOS. AND FOR US TO
 SUCCEED, LET US ALL WORK TOGETHER AS
ONE BODY THAT LIVES FOR JESUS.

GOD DIDNT COMMANDED HIS DISCIPLES

TO CELEBRATE HIS BIRTHDAY,
RATHER, GOD COMMANDED HIS DISCIPLES
TO CELEBRATE HIS DEATH.

Solomon is thought to have said, “The day of death is better than

the day of one’s birth (Ecclesiastes 7:1).
The Bible itself is silent on the Christian celebration of Jesus' birth.
One would think that if God the Father wanted His Beloved Son's
birth to be honored, He would have taken special care to ensure
that the Good Book contained a directive to do so. But what do we
find? Instead, Jesus Himself instructs us to remember—not His birth
—but His death

(Luke 22:19-20;
19And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke
it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for
you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
 20And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten,
saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant
in My blood.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG ABOUT

CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF OUR LORD JESUS
CHRIST. But HIS DEATH IS THE FULLFILLMENT
OF HIS PURPOSE, AND A SYMBOL OF HIS
VICTORY FOR OVERCOMING THE SINS IF THIS
WORLD,

He died SO THAT through Him, WE MAY HAVE AN

ETERNAL LIFE .

CHRISTMAS IS A DAY FOR US TO CELEBRATE

HIS COMING,..BUT TO ALLOW HIS DEATH TO BE
OUR WAY TO THE FATHER IS A DAY FOR US TO
REMEMBER.
